Mario Superstar Baseball Bowser Castle
Bowser Castle is an unlockable stadium in both Mario Superstar Baseball and Mario Super Sluggers. It would seem that Bowser decided to build a Baseball Stadium inside his own Castle. It is also the stadium for the Bowser Monsters.
History[edit]Mario Superstar Baseball[edit]Bowser Castle as it appears in Mario Superstar Baseball. In Mario Superstar Baseball, this stadium is unlocked for other modes in the game by beating Challenge Mode at least once. It has lava all over the stage, so Bowser has had to put a protective cage over the lava pits, as that players can walk over it. However, Lava Bubbles can still fly out of the lava pits, and will burn any player that gets hit. This will cause them to drop the ball, if they're holding it. Additionally, the stadium is very high, and there are a few Thwomps on the sides, that will try to block the ball, making it hard to get a Home-Run. In Challenge Mode, Bowser Castle is the last stadium in every players story (including Bowser). When playing as Mario, Peach, Wario, Yoshi, or Donkey Kong, the five must beat all of the other players, and then they will have to challenge Bowser's team in Bowser Castle. When playing as Bowser, Mario and a group of eight other Captains (its a random pick) will steal Bowser's Castle, after Bowser beats all the other teams. Bowser must then challenge them to a Baseball match. The stadium is also where Star Dash, a Minigame, is played. Mario Super Sluggers[edit]Bowser Castle as it appears in Mario Super Sluggers. The stadium reappears in Mario Super Sluggers, but depicting slight differences from its first appearance. Fireballs will now drip down and make large puddles on the ground, and they will burn the players who touch them. There is also King Bob-omb floating with the Koopa Clown Car, and throwing Bob-ombs across the outfield. In the background, there is a giant Bowser statue in the center field that will breathe fire to burn outfielders. The stadium is also where the minigame Bowser Pinball is played. This minigame is unlocked after Challenge Mode is complete. The background music for this stadium is a remixed version of the Castle BGM from New Super Mario Bros. Names in other languages[edit]

'Belt a grand slam!' METHOD: Knock a home run out of the park with bases loaded. STRATEGY: Significantly easier for Bowser than Mario, but still, not -that- bad Best way to set this up is grab Mario/Bowser, go to Yoshi's (or DK's) field and set up so five Speed characters bat first, and Mario/Bowser six. Bowser Monsters is the default name of Bowser's team in Mario Superstar Baseball and Mario Super Sluggers.
History[edit]Mario Superstar Baseball[edit]Bowser Monsters is the only unlockable team in Mario Superstar Baseball. They are also sometimes called the Bowser Flames, Bowser Blue Shells, and the Bowser Blackstars. When the Sub-Captain, Bowser Jr., heads the team, it is called Jr. Fangs, Jr. Bombers, Jr. Rookies, or Jr. Pixies. The Bowser Monsters team is usable in Exhibition Mode, but is not playable in Challenge Mode until the player has beaten Special Difficulty with any team;. The team acts as the Final Boss when playing as all the other teams in Challenge Mode. Bowser Monsters always practice at Bowser Castle. The Bowser Monsters team plays a bit differently. Whereas all the other teams were trying to play a game against Bowser, when playing as the Bowser Monsters, Bowser heads out to challenge them. This is not necessary for Bowser, as he just sent out the letter but, of course, Bowser does not listen to Lakitu, and heads out to challenge them. After beating all the five teams, Mario and eight of the other Captains steal Bowser's Castle, and Bowser and his team must beat them to get them out. Team Members[edit]Bowser's team is somewhat spread-out. He has four Dry Bones, along with the Hammer Bro and his two variants, the Fire Bro and the Boomerang Bro. The three Hammer Bro variants are counted as the same character, and are collectively unlocked by beating Challenge Mode once as the Bowser Monsters; they are the only unlockable species on any of the teams (the rest having individual unlockable characters only).
Team Logos/Marks[edit]
Mario Super Sluggers[edit]Bowser's team is also playable in Mario Super Sluggers, where it is only known as the Bowser Monsters. When led by Bowser Jr., the team is called Bowser Junior Rookies. The roster is somewhat similar, though Magikoopas are now available as extras. Like the previous games, all the members of the Bowser Monsters have good chemistry with Bowser, with the Magikoopas and Hammer Bros. having good chemistry with Bowser Jr. as well. Koopa Troopas have good chemistry with Bowser, Bowser Jr., and Dry Bones, and Koopa Paratroopas have good chemistry with only Bowser. Boo also shares good chemistry with Magikoopas. The Bowser Monsters is tied with the Yoshi Eggs for having the most players on one team.
